I had a little dabble over the weekend at trying to pull some of the personal info from the Blogger profiles into this site dynamically. Dissappointingly, you can't pull from every field of the profile - instead only nickname, full name, location, picture, and the 'about me' field. Why they implemented it like this is beyond me. So I stuffed all my current interests into the 'about me' field, links and all and it seems to render ok. I'd like to have the flexibility to do this for each contributing member of the blog site, but the only option I have is to pull down a list of the contributing members with a link to their profile. Ass. I know it's a free service so I shan't bitch, as they are definitely making steps in the right direction with their latest redesign and giving us users the power we want to build our homes. Until they extend it though B and D, yer shit outta luck. I think I got Kim interested over the weekend of putting together a master web site where the blog is just 1 part of it, rather than the be-all and end-all. If we did this we'd have a home page with full control over the content on it so that would rock.

Oh and by the way, what's with all the Mr Angry's on the road today? I got screamed at and then flipped off by 1 driver who seemed in an awful hurry on Route 123 which was moving at approximately 5 mph. Luckily I was listening to Kittie at full blast so all I saw was mouth and finger movements. I waved happily at him and it seemed to anger him even more. Eeeexcellent.
